Some recent activity on this board has prompted this thread, for the benefit of our out of state visitors to this forum.
Classical fencing does not currently enjoy a strong foothold in Texas. I gave Kim Moser's old Classical Fencing Resources website a look, just for a reference.
This is what it had:
Texas
Pierrot Productions -- Seabrook, TX. Contact Richard Alvarez, email pierrot{at}flash{dot}net.
Christian Darcé -- Houston, TX. Email cdarce{at}woodenswords{dot}com. Historical swordsmanship: early rapier, cut & thrust sword, long sword.
Nicholas Iago Gershberg -- Austin, TX (fall and spring only; other times see New York). Email pistolix{at}aol{dot}com, phone (512)-481-1737, mail 2917 Rio Grande St., Austin, TX 78705. French & Italian foil, Italian sabre.
I should add that Richard Alvarez now resides in California. I know nothing about Mr. Gershberg in Austin.
Christian Darce runs a business, Purpleheart Armory, just north of Houston, but his field is more historical than classical.
Dana Andersen-Wyman, the theatre instructor at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, Tx, was taught by Charles Selberg, so his foil instruction is probably classical in the Nick Evangelista sense of classical.

Seeing as you are located closer to our Missouri branch, you might try contacting David Achilleus about coming to do a workshop with you. He might be able/willing to work something out with you.
His email is: achilleus{at}kabalfencing{dot}org

I also received this response...
Dear John, can't help sending you a hello message tho my fencing days in Texas were from 1949-1956. I grew up in Ft. Worth and fenced mostly during college at TCU-but I met some gentlemen who fenced with the then-Ft. Worth Fencing club-classical fencers all of 'em.
My father, known as Tex Ray Smith taught fencing at the Y as part of his Manly Art of Self-Defense course which included boxing and judo as well as fencing. I just mention these things to show that there is some history in Texas of classical fencing.

We have a program also for Italian rapier:
www.scholasaintgeorge.org.
The Austin group never really got rolling, but we do have a vibrant group in DFW with lots of things happening in North Texas, including Abilene and Plano. There are also new groups growing up in Norman, OK; Lawton (FT. Sill), OK, and OKC as well as Bartlesville, OK.
Finally, many talented instructors will be local to DFW at the 2006 WMAW event, to be held 13-15 of Oct this year:
